Main Job Purpose
The Operations Intern will support the efficient
coordination of flight operations while ensuring safety standards and
compliance with Kenya Civil Aviation Regulations and company policies. The role
involves assisting in flight planning, maintaining operational communication
with aircraft commanders, monitoring flight activities, and providing
administrative support to the Operations Department.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist
in coordinating and executing daily flight operations activities.
- Support
flight planning and dispatch processes under supervision.
- Ensure
timely preparation and submission of flight plans.
- Facilitate
clearance processes by delivering manifests to immigration offices.
- Maintain
accurate flight logs, event records, and aircrew flying documentation.
- Establish
and manage air-to-ground and point-to-point radio communication with
aircraft commanders.
- Input
flight data into the company database accurately.
- Handle
post-flight filing of operational documents.
- Provide
administrative support including organization of office supplies.
- Perform
additional duties assigned by the Operations Manager or Duty Officer.
Qualifications
Education and Experience
- Diploma
in Flight Operations or Dispatch.
- Knowledge
of aviation radio communication.
- Proficiency
in computer applications including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint,
Outlook, and internet usage.
Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
- Ability
to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Excellent
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong
willingness to learn and adapt.
- Effective
time management and organizational skills.
- High

Work Environment
